Although I usually talk about sketching events here, today I want to share my ongoing painting challenge—#30DaysOfFaro—which, in return, is deeply connected to my upcoming Faro Sketchwalk.
For a whole month, I’ve been painting Faro daily—sometimes en plein air, sometimes back in my studio—exploring its shapes, colors, and, most of all, its magical light. Each sketch led me to new compositions, each brushstroke deepened my connection with the city.
And this is exactly what Faro Sketchwalk is about: experiencing a place through art, and capturing its essence on paper.

On Day 4 of the 5-days Lisboa course (from 1st to 5th May 2023) we make a trip to Sintra and hike in the hills! In the fourth lesson we learn how to successfully paint on location, make studies in color and the media of your choice - we deepen and practice the already learned skills of building a picture. The fifth day we spend in the city, get fully confident in the own sketching style AND make a final outdoor exhibition!

The first ART & ADVENTURE full course in in sunny LISBOA / LISBON / LISSABON: daily outdoor sketching & painting sessions, city tour, trips to Costa de Caparica, Cascais and Sintra, surfing lesson, cycling and hiking. We explore together less known spots of the place and develop our creative skills - quickly getting ready to capture the spirit of the Portuguese capital and enjoy its stunning surroundings.

In the second lesson on Day 2 of the 5-days Lisboa

In the second lesson on Day 2 of the 5-days Lisboa course (from 1st to 5th May 2023) we make a trip to the other side of Tejo - and dive into color! Learning about light/dark, warm/cold colors, using color wheel, color harmonies and building depth with color. Day 3 we spend in beautiful Cascais and learn from our guest teacher Majid Modir (founder of @ilpuntowatercolorschool ) how to use watercolor media and sketch in watercolor on location!
